If you still have time, read other stories before returning to the checklist of things you needed to make up (if you have not finished).
1)I read about the soldier that killed himself, and left a sucicde note on the wall.
ReplyDelete2)There was nothing positive about the amry here. it shows the men as rude and heartless.
3)all of it.
4)it caused him t die, because i guess he was losing his mind.
5)i am mad and sad for this man, and his mother. i mean how could you make a women paint over her own childs suicide note to prevent him from being charged with a felony. that is crazy.
i read about a soldier that was getting discharged; when he was in the process of getting discharged he got drowsey from the medication he was taking and decided to put his head down on the desk until the sargent got back.
ReplyDeleteWhen the sargent got back h ewent off and cussed he because he was sleepy. He told him that he would mess his face up if he didnt have anythung else better to do than put his head on the desk.
When you want to get out it is nopt that easy to get ou tbecause the military beleieves that you are a valueable subject to them.
Many soldiers commited sucide.
I read about the one with the dude that killed his self in the army and left a note. to me it was nothing positve about the army they showed a side of the dude that was disrespect and heartless. but really it could be acceptional cause soldiers experieces alot in the war many commit sucide.
ReplyDeleteThe soilder in the story basically commited sucicde. He left a note. In the story it explains and makes the army seem really bad, but maybe when you are in the army you feel good because you know that you are serving your country. The negatives were everything that you were exposed to, because almost everything was bad. It caused him to not
ReplyDeletebeable to really think things through. I feel bad for this family. Its really a sad and depressing thing.

i read about a soilder that was yelled at for putting his head down when he had down time.
ReplyDeletethe military offers helth benifits and other things that other companys cant.
you must kill others in combat.
They became a machine and were not able to function like a human.
There is a emotinal part of the war that some people dont know about. the comanding officer needs to not be so hard on there troops.
he was a man the was in a rage. i dont think there was none. he got blown up in a car and got thrown like 20 feet. um problably all the gun fire and the killin he did just mad him go insane. prob to go against the war
ReplyDeleteThe soldiers that I read about all died from drug overdoses; two suicides, one possibly an accident. They all had PSTD/depression. The drugs where prescribed for medical reasons.
ReplyDeleteThere were no positive portrayals of the military.
The military had several negative portrayals ; uncaring, sent soldiers who were mentally unprepared for combat to Iraq, and over prescribed medications.
It caused depression and other physical and mental problems.
I read about a soldier who was explaining to the general why he was leaving. The general left and the soldier laid his head down on the desk because of his medication. When the general came back in the room, he yelled at the soldier for laying his head down. Then he was told to do something but refused to. He was then called names.
ReplyDeleteThere are numerous positive portrayals of the military. People in the military are there to fight for the country they represent. They keep that country strong.
The military puts people at a high risk of death. This is a negative effect of the military.
The war affected the soldier I read about because he was ordered around by the general and he was also kind of mistreated. The general abused his power.
I think Salon was trying to say that war is hard. Sometimes people are mistreated. You have to sacrafice some things.
Kenneth Eastridge was the solider i read about. well miltary positive affects were that he gets free food theres not much good effects out of war. The neagtives for him was that he had PTSD from the war and explosiones. it affected him so many ways; nightmaresl sweatying and bombs and blodd and the death of so many ppl.
ReplyDeletejust the point of view on these soliders;
I read about a soldier who was cursed at and beaton all of the affects of this were negative I think thay soldiers should not be treated so horribly
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any positive potrayals at all. I think it may have looked bad.
